All other similar narrations claiming that Surah Waqia serves as protection from poverty are weak. Therefore, we can not accept the meaning of this Hadith to be true. However, al-Albani classified this as a Daif Hadith in his collection. The main Hadith that people refer to is one from Sunan al-Bayhaqi where the Prophet (PBUH) said that whoever recites Surah Waqia will never become poor. People have given various reasons to recite Surah Waqia. The focus of Surah Waqia then switches to the people of the left, who Allah says will be in an extremely hot fire and boiling water, which is Hell. He even describes the inhabitants of Paradise in some detail and tells us about the men and women who did good deeds.

He mentions the pleasures of paradise and the many blessings for Muslims. Our Maker then goes on to provide intense descriptions of both abodes. Lastly, the forerunners are those who will be extra close to Him, among those of humanity who lived their lives in the best possible way. Meanwhile, the people of the left are the people of Hell.

Allah then goes on to discuss this matter further in Surah Waqia and says that the companions of the right are the people of Paradise. They will be the companions of the right, the companions of the left, and the forerunners. Our Creator says that the people who He will resurrect will be in three groups.
